CIPP Guide

What is it?

To play rugby with any club team in the US, you need to be registered (CIPPed) with USA Rugby. If you're not CIPPed already, you should do this as soon as possible.

(For 15s season only: If you're currently CIPPed with a different club and need to transfer, please contact Xa!)

How do I do it?

Enter your email and click "Continue."

If you've CIPPed in the past, Rugby Xplorer will pull in your existing account information.

2. Click "Sign me up!"

If you've never CIPPed with USA Rugby before, you'll see the screen above. Click "sign me up" and go through the process of setting up an account and logging in.

3. Go to "Register" in the left menu, then click "Find a club"

4. Find DC Revolution in the club list

5. Select the "Player" role

For the other fields, the only options are "senior club" registration type and season duration.

6. Enter emergency contact and other info.

You'll go through a few more screens asking for some basic information.

Please note that in order to play in our competitive division (D3WS), players need to be officially CIPPed as 'female.' if you have any questions or concerns about that, please talk to a board member/captain!

7. Pay and complete registration.

The total cost of CIPPing is $78 per year. The club is committed to making sure no one is financially prohibited from playing rugby with us, so if CIPP fees (or any other rugby overhead costs) are a problem, please don't hesitate to contact the treasurer (treasurer@dcrevolution.com) to talk about financial aid/payment plan options.
