Students will remain in classrooms for all snacks and meals.
Students will maintain six (6) feet of physical distance while eating breakfast and lunch as students will be unable to wear face coverings during these times.
Students are encouraged to bring a full water bottle each day as water fountains will be closed. Bottles may be refilled using our filling stations (for those schools that have them available). Water filling stations will be sanitized along with all other “common touch” surfaces.
Shared food is prohibited. Parents are asked only to send food for their child and not class consumption (i.e. birthdays; holiday celebrations).
Students will be required to practice proper hand-washing/sanitizing prior to eating.
Open Campus will be made available to students in grades 11 and 12. This will reduce the number of students present during a particular lunch period, allowing for safer numbers in the classrooms and cafeteria at one time.
During yellow phase, students will consume lunch in their assigned classroom.
Upon return to green phase, students will retrieve food in the order that they arrive into the cafeteria, adhering to safe distancing while waiting in line. Upon receiving food, students will sit in the next available seat in the cafeteria, filing from back to front.

Upon return to the green phase, following the compilation of lunch, students will be dismissed from back to front, dumping all remaining lunch items on their way out of the cafeteria.
Upon return to green phase, students will not be permitted to dump food prior to being dismissed from the cafeteria, so as to minimize the movement of students during lunch.
