"Information can sometimes be conveyed more effectively by something other than words" (Frank Gallagher & Kat Stewart, 2011, p. 133).
Individuals must be taught how to identify and evaluate information so that they could be able identify reliable online sources and refrain from committing plagiarism. We shouldeach learners how to use online sources and acknowledge the authors by citing them. Learners must also be able to interpret information. That can be done by teaching them "how to recognize the author's intent, how to identify, use, and appreciate creative techniques like irony, symbolism, satire, and onomatopoeia; how to verify the accuracy of information and the reliability of sources" (Frank Gallagher & kAT Stewart, 2011, p. 133). By so doing learners will have acquired critical thinkung skills.
