Responsible Use of Media in a Digital World

Learning outcomes:

1. Define concepts related to digital citizenship.

2. Understand what it means to be a responsible user of media in a digital world. 

3. Know the application of Cyberbullying, Copyright/Ethics, Privacy, Media Literacy, Information Literacy, and Communication and Collaboration on the internet towards the development of a positive digital citizenship.

Introduction

In order to develop a positive citizenship towards a personal digital identity, you must be a responsible and well knowledgeable adapter and adopter of media and technology. Therefore, therefore this portion of work will illustrate ways in which learners and other educational stakeholders can become responsible media participants in a digital world.  It will recommend ways to use media in an appropriate and responsible manner in order to develop a positive digital citizenship towards a personal digital identity. Note that there is an assessment provided that you can take to test your knowledge and level of understandung of the content covered by this work.
