Communication and collaboration refer to the ability to communicate and work effectively with others towards achieving a shared goal.

Individuals need to be taught how to achieve communication and collaboration skills. That can be do through conducting teaching lesson that promotes collaboration. For instance, encouraging them to work in online groups and collaborate with one another in a positive way. As individuals love communicating through digital media so much, they should be taught to "communicate effectively, and avoid sending unintentional, dangerous, or confusing messages" (Frank Gallagher & Kat Stewart, 2011, p.114). Teach individuals to communicate in a respectful and effective, using polite words and a polite tone. There should be continous online collaboration classes conducted so that individuals/learners can work on improving their communication and collaboration skills.
