These reports are usually requested to confirm the cause of the fault/damage to an electrical/solar unit in the home, or to confirm if the unit has been damaged from an event. These reports must have images of the unit, information and/or photos of the model number, serial number, manufacturer details etc. Photos must be taken of any/all testing done whilst on site. These reports often include testing of electrical components with an OHmeter (an electrical instrument that measures electrical resistance, the opposition to an electric current).
