Task description
With the execution of an exhaustive documentary survey with the Military Historical Archive, it will be possible to develop hypotheses about the technological evolution of the military industry. As a result, it is expected to create a knowledge base to formulate new hypotheses on the levels of evolution of national technology compared to the European state of art.
Taking the mechanisms as a case study, it was a technical option that admittedly allows us to create comparison and also investigate knowledge transmission networks and propagation speeds.
As a result of the study it will be possible after the disassembly and assembly of the mechanisms and installation of them in a position of fire, prepare the dissemination of the results in the permanent exhibition of the Lisbon Military Museum and spread knowledge among other institutions.
