Before analyzing a sample, make sure that the soil is properly collected and prepared.
Avoid inhalation or contact with reagents on your skin or clothing. Always wear proper protective equipment and attire such as face mask and gloves.
Do not drink, eat, or smoke while performing the soil sampling or analysis.
Use only test tubes designated for testing the soil pH, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium to achieve accurate results and avoid contamination and
Before starting with the analysis, make sure that your test tubes are dry and free from dirt.
Always keep the reagent bottles tightly closed after use. Do not interchange their caps.
Store the Soil Test Kit (STK) in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and reach of children.
Bring empty reagent bottles for refills and collected STK wastes at the BSWM Customer Center or to the nearest Regional Soils Laboratory (RSL) in your area.
