Zebrafish as a Window into Regeneration and Disease
In our lab, we use the zebrafish as a powerful vertebrate model to uncover how tissues develop, repair, and regenerate. With its remarkable regenerative capacity and genetic tractability, zebrafish allows us to dissect molecular mechanisms in real time from brain and liver regeneration to disease modeling and tumor biology. By combining genetics, imaging, molecular biology, and functional assays, we bridge development, regeneration, and pathology to understand how cells rebuild complex tissues and how these processes go wrong in disease.
Our goal is simple: decode the biology of resilience.
