TIMELINE

Leading up to the in-person June workshop at Notre Dame, there will be a Zoom session to serve as a meet-and-greet as well as an opportunity for participants to prepare for what they plan to make at the workshop. Ahead of the Zoom, which will include a making experience, participants are encouraged to re-familiarise themselves with the foundations of videographic criticism by making short works-in-progress (for example, the videographic exercises found here). There will be an exercise developed during the Zoom session and a homework assignment to be done before the in-person workshop. 

March 28, 2025: Application deadline

Mid-April: Acceptances sent out 

End of April: Instructions for pre-workshop exercise shared to participants

End of May: Workshop fees due ($900 US funds)

Mid-May: Zoom session 

End of May: Travel arrangements finalized

June: All participants arrive at Notre Dame on June 9th and depart on June 15th

August-December: Post-workshop collaborations (conference panel organization, screenings, proposals to potential publication venues)
