On-campus, single-occupancy accommodations in McGlinn Hall at Notre Dame University will be made available to participants, covered by the cost of attendance. All rooms are furnished with an extra-long (XL) twin bed frame and 80" mattress (which can be lofted, bunked, or separated), linens and pillowcases, desk and chair, and closet/wardrobe. Residential Life will have professional and student staff residing on-campus to support the facilities, check-in, and check-out
Opened in 2004, the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the performing and cinematic arts. It is the home of the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre and serves as a hub for student performances, professional productions, and academic programs. The Browning Cinema, a state-of-the-art 200-seat theater, will serve as our primary screening space, equipped with 4K digital projection and surround sound for an optimal viewing experience. Participants will also have access to dedicated editing suites and media labs designed for high-quality video and sound production. Specialized recording studios within the center will support voiceover work and audio mixing, while flexible studio spaces will be available for green screen filming and other production needs.
The workshop fee includes a meal plan for three meals per day with Notre Dame Campus Dining. Participants will have access to either the South Dining Hall, a historic, cathedral-style space, or the North Dining Hall, a bright, modern facility with open-kitchen stations. The dining hall designation for summer is TBD, but both offer an array of options, including fresh salad bars, international cuisine, and made-to-order meals. Locally sourced ingredients and dietary accommodations—including vegetarian (V), vegan (VE), dairy-free (DF), and gluten-free (GF) choices—are available at every meal. Daily menus are posted online, ensuring participants can plan their meals with ease.
