Esperanza del Valle Scholarship

REFORMA del Valle Central is proud to provide the ESPERANZA DEL VALLE $1500.00 Annual Scholarship for students pursuing their Master of Library & Information Science/Studies. We are eager to do our part to open the door to having more LIBRARIANS committed to serving LatinX/ChicanX communities. The presence of such librarians are needed in our academic, public, school, community college and special libraries! 

Eligibility:

1. Currently attend or be accepted to an ALA accredited Institution 

2. Be bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) and/or committed to working with the Latinx/Chicanx community

3. Be a resident of the counties served by REFORMA del Valle Central: Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties in CA.
