Latinx Library Workers Panel - Ever curious about what library workers do besides checking out books? In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, CCGC and Henry Madden Library Library Diversity Committee, and REFORMA del Valle Central hosted a panel of Latinx library workers from the Central Valley to discuss racial and ethnic diversity in the field, intersectionality of the Latinx experience, and decolonizing academic and public spaces.

Ronald J. Harlan Music Collection (Henry Madden Library, Fresno State Fresno, CA)
As part of the Libraries in the Valley Series, REFORMA del Valle Central invites YOU to view a prerecorded video about the Ronald J. Harlan Music Collection housed at Fresno State’s @maddenlibrary . Learn more about their collection of scores and sound recordings, a media collection of video recordings, and other listening and viewing facilities.
The Ronald J. Harlan Music Collection has 22,000 compact discs, 40,000 stereo and monaural LPs and 47,000 scores. The collection focuses mainly on Western art music from the Middle Ages to the present, but also contains representative scores and recordings in the areas of jazz, musical comedy, popular music and music from other cultures. There are also spoken recordings containing poetry, plays and speeches.
