The concept of Galaxy Nexus Café is a futuristic and climate-responsive architectural proposal designed for students in Malaysia’s tropical environment. The project combines Neo-Futurism with Tropical Modernism to create a café that is visually innovative while remaining practical and comfortable for hot-humid climates. Inspired by galaxies, cosmic forms, and space aesthetics, the design features curved geometries, glowing ambient lighting, glass façades, and dynamic spatial experiences that create an immersive futuristic atmosphere. At the same time, the café integrates climate-responsive strategies such as natural ventilation, shaded outdoor seating, tropical landscaping, deep overhangs, and open-plan layouts to improve thermal comfort and energy efficiency. The main idea is to create a collaborative and relaxing student space where users can study, socialize, and experience a unique architectural environment. In this project, artificial intelligence supported the architectural workflow through research, concept generation, prompt development, image visualization, and design refinement using tools such as Perplexity AI, ChatGPT, and Bing Image Creator.
