Oral iTest exam codes
Every REED student in 4-5 points (11th and 12th grades) does the Oral Bagrut via the iTest.
Special Education students (07) who need to have a 4-5 point oral test should try the practice test and if the decision is made together with the student that they cannot perform via the iTest, they will receive a human tester.
For extraordinary situations (eg, stuttering, differential students etc) , The coordinator may also apply for a human tester. The English Inspector will consider the case.
This is how you do it:
Send Judie Segal an email (judiese@mchp.gov.il) explaining the student's situation.
Include information about how the practice test went and what the challenges were.
After the decision has been made, you will be notified by email.
Upon receipt of approval for a human tester, in that same email, you will get the form that you need to fill out in order to receive a ktav minui for your tester.
A Matkonet will be done before the external test by the student's own teacher.
Final grades will be submitted via the app that is used by all of the rest of the testers in the country who still do the F2F oral exam. Watch this video for instructions on how to use it.
We highly recommend written documentation of the grades, and giving it to the school bagrut secretary or English coordinator for safe keeping, in case there are any technical problems.
Remember: It is really important that ALL students feel like they are doing the same type of exam. Please allow every student to try once. Only then make a decision with the student.
Here is how REED schools need to get kitvei minui, when appropriate.
