Red Rose Quilters Guild
To promote the art of quilting in its many forms through an active program of education and study.
The Red Rose Quilters Guild is an organization with the goal of promoting the art of quilting in its many forms through an active program of education and study. To this end, the Guild provides lectures, hands-on workshops, and educational programs on a variety of subjects relating to quilts and quilting at its regular monthly meetings.
In addition, the Guild and its members seek to maintain the tradition of many quilters who historically have provided items of warmth and comfort to those around them by making small quilts for the children who come to the Transitional Living Center, BIRD Ministries, Milagro House, AseraCare, and the Domestic Violence Center of Lancaster.
Our meetings are informative and fun, while providing a place for fellowship with others who share the love of quilting. We offer outstanding workshops at rates much lower than at other venues as well.
We have about 175 members of all ages and levels of quilting skills. Many members are just learning how to quilt. We have fiber artists and craftswomen as well as the traditionalists who hope to preserve our quiltmaking heritage here in Lancaster County.
Guild Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month. Information regarding our monthly meetings is located on the RRQG Meetings Tab.

Studio is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 1:00 – 8:30 pm, at Four Seasons Golf Club and Banquet Facility. Studio is unstructured quilting time for our members to gather and work either on their own individual projects or to work in groups on one quilt. The sessions provide great opportunities for our members to meet other quilters, exchange ideas, and learn as we work with each other.
