Red Rose Quilters Guild
To promote the art of quilting in its many forms
through an active program of education and study.
The Red Rose Quilters Guild is an organization with the goal of promoting the art of quilting in its many forms through an active program of education and study. To this end, the Guild provides lectures, hands-on workshops, and educational programs on a variety of subjects relating to quilts and quilting at its regular monthly meetings.
In addition, the Guild and its members seek to maintain the tradition of many quilters who historically have provided items of warmth and comfort to those around them by making small quilts for the children who come to the Transitional Living Center, BIRD Ministries, Milagro House, AseraCare, and the Domestic Violence Center of Lancaster.
Our meetings are informative and fun, while providing a place for fellowship with others who share the love of quilting. We offer outstanding workshops at rates much lower than at other venues as well.
We have nationally known speakers, an extensive library, a bi-monthly newsletter filled with events and tips, community groups where you can get to know other Guild members; and participation in our monthly Red Rose Studio Sessions as well as membership to our Facebook page. The Guild also offers outstanding workshops at rates much lower than at other venues.
We have about 175 members of all ages and levels of quilting skills. Many members are just learning how to quilt. We have fiber artists and craftswomen as well as the traditionalists who hope to preserve our quiltmaking heritage here in Lancaster County.
We are currently meeting virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Click here to join the Zoom meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. Beginning at 6:30 pm, login to visit with the members; the meeting is called to order at 7:00 pm, followed by the program.
Occasionally, the speaker uses her own Zoom account. I will try to add that link here if time allows.
As of August 2021, all meetings and workshops continue to be virtual.
When we once again meet in person, the following is the information for the location of our meetings.

Studio is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, at Hosanna! Christian Fellowship Church. Studio is unstructured quilting time for our members to gather and work either on their own individual projects or to work together on comfort quilts. The sessions provide great opportunities for our members to meet other quilters, exchange ideas, and learn as we work with each other.
