Red Rose Quilters Guild

Welcome to the Home of the

Red Rose Quilters Guild

We have about 130 members of all ages and levels of quilting skills.  Many of our members are learning how to quilt and many are advancing their skills.   We have contemporary fiber artists and craftswomen as well as the traditionalists who hope to preserve our quiltmaking heritage here in Lancaster County. We gather twice a month to grow our skills, to build a network of knowledge and make quilting friends. Come check us out.

Regular Guild Meetings occur on the Second Tuesday evening of every month

Meeting Place: Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, in High Auditorium inside the Crossings Building

Doors open at 6:30 pm for 30 minutes of socializing, signing up for workshops, picking up comfort quilt kits to make and more.

Business meeting occurs from 7 – 7:15 pm

Program begins at 7:15 and lasts until 8:30 pm

Member Show and Tell begins at 8:30

Our meetings are informative and fun, while providing a place for fellowship with others who share the love of quilting. Progams often have nationally known speakers. We meet in person at Landis Homes April through October, plus February and December. November, January and March we meet via Zoom.

Studio Meetings occur on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of every month

Meeting Place: Landis Homes- The Westview Community Room, 1 Sundrop Lane, Lititz PA- from 1-5 pm

(this address will bring you to a 4-way stop; Westview Community Room is on your left, where the circle is).

Studio offers unstructured quilting time for our members to gather and work either on their own individual projects or to work together on comfort quilts. The sessions provide great opportunities for our members to meet other quilters, exchange ideas, and learn as we work with each other.

Studio is our working meeting where many of the 250 comfort quilts we donate to local charitable organizations are produced. Come for a little, or for a lot. Our amazing stash of donated fabric is available during Studio for our members to "shop" for comfort quilt fabrics (the price is right - it's free!) Check out books from the Guild's extensive library, also available during Studio. Get to know Guild members in a more informal setting. Donation $3, or whatever you’re willing to contribute to help defray the cost of the room.
