All lessons are available in Western or English. Lesson horses are provided, or riders are welcome to bring their own horse for instruction.

Our Lesson Program

At Stable INN & Mountain View POA's, our goal is to develop safe, confident, and knowledgeable horsemen and horsewomen. Whether you're stepping into the saddle for the very first time or refining advanced riding skills, our program is designed to help every rider progress at their own pace.

We proudly offer Western and English riding lessons for Tiny Tots, youth, teens, and adults. Our instruction emphasizes strong fundamentals, clear communication with the horse, and building confidence through quality horsemanship.

One of the unique aspects of our program is that many of our lesson horses have been bred and raised through our own breeding program. Because we know each horse's temperament, training, and abilities, we can carefully match horses with riders to create a safe, enjoyable, and productive learning experience.

🐴 Drop-In Lessons

1 Hour • $100

Perfect for new riders, visitors, or students who prefer a flexible schedule.

Each lesson is customized to the rider's experience level and focuses on developing:

• Proper balance and position

• Leg cues and rider aids

• Soft, steady hands

• Steering and control

• Confidence in the saddle

• Horse care and basic horsemanship

Drop-in lessons are ideal for riders who want quality instruction without committing to a monthly program.

1.5 Hours • $150

Every new student begins with a comprehensive riding evaluation.

During the evaluation we assess:

• Current riding ability

• Balance and coordination

• Seat position

• Leg cues

• Hand position

• Confidence level

• Overall horsemanship skills

• Rider goals and interests

Following the evaluation, we recommend the lesson program and horse that best fits each student's current skill level and future goals.

📚 Academy Lesson Packages

For riders committed to long-term improvement

Academy students receive 1½-hour lessons, allowing additional time for grooming, tacking, riding instruction, skill development, and horsemanship education.

Our structured lesson program helps students build:

Learn the art of safe horse driving with hands-on instruction.

Students learn:
