Considering Match & Fit is an amazing way to build your college list! By using Match & Fit, we can build college lists that are not only made up of schools that are within reach for you, but also schools that would best suit you as an individual!

When we talk about match, we want to see how your stats 'match' up with what the school is looking for. This is typically numerical data including:
GPA
Test Scores (ACT/SAT)
**Do not worry if your grades/scores do not seem like they are a perfect match for a school. There are always exceptions! Meet with your college adviser to talk about match & fit and to build a college list.**
Fit
Fit
'Fit' is all about what YOU want in a school. When we talk about fit, we want to see how a school 'fits' what you are looking for. Fit factors include:
School size
Academic programs offered
Extracurriculars/clubs offered
Proximity from home
Any other nonnegotiables that you have!
** Each person's 'fit factors' are going to be different! What matters to you in a school may not matter to someone else, that is what makes fit so important when finding the right school for you!**
