To our esteemed neighbours in Ad Flumen Caerulum, the College of St. John of Rila, Polderslot and Trivium,
We send you greetings from Knights Crossing, and warm wishes in the spirit of friendship that ties our lands together.
This is not merely the usual invitation to attend one of our events, though of course all are always welcome. It is something a little more deliberate. This year, we would like to invite our neighbours to make their presence visible at Red and Gold by bringing their banners, and perhaps even nominating an Ambassador, so that we and our colours may stand together as a sign of friendship and collaboration.
Red and Gold is held each summer in the heart of Knights Crossing, and is already organised by a cross-border team. Increasingly it is a gathering place for friends from across the Heartlands. Many of our neighbours already attend and contribute in important ways, and we would like to take a moment to recognise and celebrate that shared work and long-standing connection, as well as the many other fruitful cooperations between our lands.
If your group wishes, you are warmly invited to name an Ambassador to the Court of Knights Crossing at Red and Gold. Any Ambassadors present will be greeted and welcomed as representatives of our friends and equals, and invited to take part in official moments in a relaxed and respectful way, standing side by side in equal honour and acknowledging the bonds we share.
We would like to raise all our flags together this year as a visible sign of cooperation, mutual regard, and friendship.
If your group would like to bring a banner and name an Ambassador, we would be gladdened by it.
If no Ambassador is named, your banner alone will still be warmly welcomed and will fly in a place of honour.
Nothing is required, and all is offered in the spirit of friendship. Bring what you wish, and come as you are. We will watch for your colours with joy, but hope even more for your smiles.
