A key part of recovery is assessing whether it had an impact on your training and performance. That's why we ask you to do two specific workouts, and then share your workout performance with us.
Instead of asking you to manually record all the details of all your workouts, in this study we use a couple different options to make it easier to communicate your workout data. The preferred option is to connect your TrainingPeaks account with ours, but we can work to find a solution that fits you. Use the menu below to find instructions on how to share your workout data.
Click this link to connect your TrainingPeaks account with our coach account: https://home.trainingpeaks.com/attachtocoach?sharedKey=J7TTJIIIUEU2Y
You will then need to sync your Zwift account with your TrainingPeaks account:
Use this link log in to Zwift and go to the Connections page of your profile.
Scroll down to “TrainingPeaks” and click “Connect”.
Sign in to your TrainingPeaks account when prompted.

If you ALREADY HAVE a coach connected to your TrainingPeaks account, then you will have to send an invitation to connect to our coach account. This will not change or interfere with any other coach accounts you may be connected to; it will just add a “secondary coach”. Follow these steps:
Log in to TrainingPeaks, click on your name in the top right corner, then click on Settings.
In the left-hand menu, click on “Coaches”.
Type in DeliberateRecovery@gmail.com, and click Send.
This will send an invitation to the study account to connect. Once we accept the invitation, this will add a coach to your account.

If you do not want to share your workout data with us through TrainingPeaks (i.e., you have an account but do not want to connect to ours, or do not have an account and do not want one), then you can follow the instructions below to share you Zwift data from the two key workouts with us:
AFTER completing each key workout, go to a computer and sign in to your account on Zwift.com.
Go to your activity feed. You might automatically land on your activity feed. If not, click the three horizontal lines in the top right, and select activity feed.
Scroll down and click on the second Key Workout – it should be labelled "FTP Test (shorter)".
In the activity, click on the gear symbol next to the activity title.
Click on "Download FIT file".
Repeat the process for Key Workout 1.
Attach both FIT files to an email, and send it to DeliberateRecovery@gmail.com.
Please complete these steps as soon as possible after completing each key workout.
