Flying Down

Flying Down

Written by Sid Griffin, Stephen McCarthy & Greg Sowders

I am high, high, high over my home

Over and done with for awhile

I am gone, gone, gone yet only for so long

Though I  left with grace and style

Flying high right over the earth

Flying up then all around

I can see what I never saw

Now I'm starting to fly down

Sunset soaks the garden twlight hits the bridge

River rolls by the ruby ridge

The eyes in the moon shutter none too soon

On sleepy emerald grass grown cold

Flying high right over the earth

Flying high by farm and town

Now I see what you never saw

Now I'm starting to fly down

It's quiet when you're speaking

The sky seems all alone

It's quiet in the air so quiet everywhere

It's not that I hear laughter it's more that I don't care

It's not that I hear laughter it's more that I don't care

And the sky is all we'll share

I am high, high, high over my home

Flying down with grace and style

I am gone, gone, gone yet only for so long

Flying down for awhile

I am high, high, high over my home

Flying down with grace and style

I am gone, gone, gone yet only for so long

Flying down for awhile
