My students kept me in check with grammar tickets when I would type out responses on the board. If I wrote an incomplete sentence or forgot to add a period or comma, they would give me a grammar ticket.
I introduced the "waiting room" concept so students would work on not coming up to the teacher and interrupting them.
In order to introduce persuasive writing, I created an anchor chart following the OREO acronym
Students did a guided annotating of an essay in order to understand what was expected for their essays they were writing.

This lesson was created for my science methods course that I taught a mock lesson of with a group on thermal energy!
This was a supplemental graphic organizer for students to organize their thinking for writing their persuasive essays.
This template was designed for students to write their final drafts of their persuasive essays to be completed.Â
