While most people would have stopped after that major defeat by the hands of a 5 person group, including her own son, Night Swan had other plans.
Entering her secret base in the middle of Dancity through a portal, Night Swan starts to plan out the next course of action she will take. She put on the radio to a random station and immediately started scheming.
“What will catch those pesky Just Dancers off guard?” Night Swan thinks out loud. “Will jazz or 10 BPM catch them off gua-”
The radio starts playing a familiar tune and Night Swan is taken aback before calming herself quickly.
“Hmm, The Hit Crew does have great songs, but they would expect me to use that…”
Then the vocals kick in and Night Swan gets taken aback as a different set of vocals come in. The singer sings about a deadlock while the instrumental is one that she remembers all too well from the years of spy training she suffered before trying to be a ballerina.
“Well, well, well. What station is this?”
As the song ends, the radio station host comes on.
“That was a mashup of ‘Toxic’ by The Hit Crew and ‘Deadlock’ by Go! Child called ‘Toxic Lock’, mixed by Rebateman, and you’re listening to MashAF, the only radio station dedicated to song mashups in all of Dancity! Next, we got a few tracks to celebrate the victory of The Just Dancers! Here is ‘Hey! Hey! Let’s Get Physical!’, also by Rebateman!” The host announces before the song plays.
“Hmm, that could work for my plans. Throw them off with song mashups. Now to make some and borrow others… I must chat with this Rebateman fellow soon.” Night Swan plots.
Little does Night Swan know, Rebateman knows…
A bit of light comes from the ceiling as a CD drops down. Night Swan catches it. The case has a picture of Liza Friday on it. Night Swan looks up and sees only a little shine as something seems to close.
“Alright, let’s see what we got.”
Coming Soon!
The backgrounds and Rebateman (in the up top view) were drawn by Rebateman.
The 2nd part of the lore had to be slowed down by 50% after rendering it or else it was to fast to read.
