This chapter will include mentions of disowning, family issues, trauma, homelessness, LGBT issues and other related issues. If you or your government aren't okay with that, you can skip the main section and read instead the added summary.
Wanderlust and Jack leave Michou watching on Jack's phone Sara and Night Swan in a battle while they go to the theme park Run Dem Boyz to try to find Mihaley and Brezziana.
As they arrive, they meet Arleen, a girl who lives in Run Dem Boyz. Wanderlust and Jack ask her if she will join her as a part of The New Just Dancers. After one last look around, she goes with Jack and Wanderlust back to the mansion via a portal.
The song that played was seemingly an upbeat song, one that Sara recognised immediately.
“Oh god… were you here with me for years?” Sara asks.
“Shh, spoilers.” Night Swan responds “Restart!”.
The song restarts as the pictograms come in on Jack's phone, along with the lyrics and the rest of the HUD.
“Welcome to the internet.” Night Swan sings.
Meanwhile, Wanderlust is thinking of a plan on how to save Sara. “I think I know just the place to check for the other Just Dancers…” Wanderlust says as he opens a portal. “Come on!”
“I think I need a breather… too many portals and too much info coming all at once…” Michou responds.
“Well, you shall miss out on a theme park then. Come with me, Jack!” Wanderlust says.
“Uh, I see fire on the big roller coaster… purple flames, even!” Michou points out.
“Huh? And there’s a girl there too!” Jack points out.
“Quick then! Michou, stay for now. Jack, come with!” Wanderlust commands.
“Sir yes sir! Also, stay watching Sara’s situation.” Jack commands, giving his phone to Michou.
And with that, Michou just watches on Jack’s phone with a look of horror.
“Here we are at Run Dem Boyz.” Wanderlust proudly announces.
“So, shall we ride the burning coaster or shall we get the abandoned food?” Jack asks.
“I see you are back on your act. Wanting to impress your mother, I guess?” Wanderlust deduces.
“Shut. There’s someone here.”
“Hey, who are you? Don't Brezziana and Mihaly live here?” Wanderlust asks.
“They used to. Before his mother came and took their hearts and I never saw them or many others that live here.” The girl remarks.
“Hey, I’ll have you know that I had to basically disown her as my mother and restart my music career without her influence!” Jack snaps.
The girl is stunned for a second, seemingly having flashbacks and panic attacks.
“Hey, sorry if I came off too harsh. I’m Jack Rose, as you know. And that’s Wanderlust.” Jack says, trying to calm the panicked girl.
“It’s okay. Just that something you said triggered some bad memories to come back. About my parents… or the people who were my parents before they disowned me.” The girl says.
“Oh. If it’s not too much, why did they disown you?” Jack asks, softer than Wanderlust ever knew him to say.
“I used to be called Arle. Now he’s dead and I’m now Arleen.” Arleen says. “Mihaly made me realize that I don’t feel right as a male and that’s okay. But my parents didn’t see the same. Don’t worry, I’m now over it. But this was my home for the past 5 years, along with many others. This was our home when no other place allowed us. But last year, the government decided it would be better to destroy the place. And today’s the day that happens. And before you all ask, it’s just me left.”
“And I thought the others were having a bad trauma dump back at the mansion.” Wanderlust sighed. “Well, anyways, we are trying to defeat Night Swan once and for all. Want to help us?”
“Just give me a minute to be here for one last time. I want to tell the others how home ended if I see them again.” Arleen answers.
While walking around for the last time, Arleen reminisces about the past and says enough of some words that if it wasn't censored, this would make this an adult only chapter due to the language used.
"This is my last time being here. Bye, RDB. Bye, all the memories... wait, is that--" Arleen stops herself as she notices a mirror on the ground. "That's Brez's. I need to return this to her once I see her again."
Arleen continues to look around for a while, finding some stuff that Brez and Mihal forgot when they left. Those things made her get some thoughts.
Why did they move here in the first place? What did they do or someone else do to make them go homeless? Mihal has loving parents that are supportive of their child being non-binary and Brez was from a wealthy family who spoiled her. There's no reasonable way they would both come here on the exact same day and start living here. Unless something happened. But they both were accepted, unlike me. I must figure this out.
After waiting for what feels like an eternity, Arleen returns. "Okay, I'm ready. Let's go."
The trio return to Michou in Jack's home.
