The Rifle Team (or Marksmanship Team) participates in skilled competitions all across the district, the states, and the nationally. Rifle team shoots air rifles and incorporates three different positions: standing, kneeling, and prone. It is generally composed of a lead A-Team, and then B and C teams. All scores are published on Orion Results.

Rifle Team's 2023-2024 Goal: To attend and place in All-Service Nationals in Ohio.
This year, Reagan's Rifle team placed First in the Distinguished Division for the 2023 Air Rifle League. This placement qualifies them as the 2nd seed team for the Air Force Nationals in Alabama.
Reagan's Rifle team competed in Air Force Nationals in Anniston, Alabama in February 2024 and placed 1st Overall in the Air Force. This placement deems the Reagan Rifle team the National Champions (Air Force) and qualifies them for All Service Nationals in Ohio this March! Special Congratulations to Cadets Kylie Kinnamon and Anna Edwards for placing 1st and 3rd overall as individual shooters.

For the 2021-2022 season, Reagan's Rifle Team placed First at the district competition, for the second year in a row, under c/Capt. Long.
Reagan's Rifle Team also qualified for the JROTC National Championship.
For the 2020-2021 season, Reagan's Rifle Team placed First at the district competition, for the first time in Reagan history!

Reagan's Rifle A-Team, composed of Soren Webb, Nathaniel Somma, Evan Lewis, and Josh Roy (not pictured), won the District Championship for the first time ever, and separately set a team PB of 977 in a 3X10. Three of our shooters placed in the top 3 as individuals in the entire district: Lewis and Webb (2nd tied), Somma (3rd).

Soren Webb qualified for the NC state-wide rifle competition in the spring of 2020. He placed 12th in the American Legion Postal, the highest from our school.
Josh Roy qualified as an individual for the Air Force Regional Postal.
