The Top 8 plays a vital role for the Corps Commander by assisting in the effective distribution of information and ideas. These are the top leaders of the Corps and are over the rest of the staff.
c/Lt. Col. Kylie Kinnamon
Vice Corps Commander
C/Lt. Col Kylie Kinnamon is a senior AS-4 and is the Vice Corps Commander for the 2023-2024 school year. As the Vice Corps Commander, she relays the progress of the Corps Commander and works with the Corps Commander as a team to communicate messages to the Top 8 in order to make our Corps better organized, prepared, and confident in the year's challenges. Her goal this year is to make each and every cadet the best version of themselves. She has previously been a Flight Commander, two time Rifle Captian and the Saber Team Captain. She intends to go to Guilford Tech to be an Aircraft Mechanic.
c/CMS Victor Sifuentes
Senior Enlisted Advisior
C/CMS Victor Sifuentes is a senior AS-4 and is the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the 2023-2024 school year. As the Senior Enlisted Advisor he trains flight sergeants making sure they are prepared and ready to help their Flight Commander. He also oversees the enlisted portion of the corps and deals with any conflicts between cadets. His main goal this year is to teacher younger cadets to take leadership within the corps and hope that this year and years after, Reagan AFJROTC will remain number one in the district. He has been a Flight Sergeant and the Health and Wellness Officer.
c/Lt. Col. Taeryeong Kim
Brigade Representitive
c/Lt. Col Taeryeong Kim is a senior AS-4 and serves as the Brigade Representative for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Brigade Representative, he relays the message from the District Brigade to the Reagan Corps and also oversees all boards in the Corps. His goal for this year is 6 LET Board first places. He was previously a Flight Commander and Squadron Commander. He is enlisted in the Air Force Reserves and is interested to help other enlist if they are interested.
c/Maj. Carly Edwards
Apache Squadron Commander
C/Maj. Carly Edwards is a junior AS-3 and is the Apache Squadron Commander for the 2023-2024 school year. As a squadron commander, she oversees all of the A day Flight Commanders. Her role is to teach the importance of leadership and make sure her flight commanders are prepared for class everday. Her main goals this year are to helo cadets grow and become the best versions of themselves. She has previously been a Flight Commander and is excited for the upcoming year to work with the best Corps in the district.
c/Maj. Anna Edwards
Blackhawk Squadron Commander
C/Maj. Anna Edwards is a junior AS-3 and is the Blackhawk Squadron commander for the 2023-2024 school year. As a squadron commander she is in control of all B day flights and makes sure the Flight Commanders are doing what they need to be doing. She has previously been a Logistics Assistant and a Flight Commander. SHe is also a top shooter on Rifle Team and has attended the National Championship in Alabama twice. She is super excited for this year and is looking forward to working with other Top 8 members and the Corps!
c/Maj. Mercer Long
Mission Support Commander
C/Maj. Mercer Long is a senior AS-3 and is the Mission Support Commander for the 2023-2024 school year. As Mission Support Commander, her job is to oversee Mission Support and make sure communication runs smoothly. Her goal for this year is to make sure the Mission Support staff is prepared for Inspection. She was previously a Personnel Assistant and the Logistics Officer. She enjoys working out at the gym and is always putting in full effort into any challenge.
c/Maj. Blake Farmer
Operations Commander
C/Maj. Blake Farmer is a senior AS-4 and is the Operations Commander for the 2023-2024 school year. He is responsible for leading, guiding and training the team commanders. Previously, Blake has been a Personnel Assistant, Flight Commander and Blackhawk Squadron Commander. He is a three year member of Academic Team. He has received the Daedalian award, American Legion Scholastic Award and the Tuskegee Airmen Incorporated Award. He is also on the cross country and both indoor and outdoor track teams. He placed seventh at the Indoor Championships in the 1-mile racewalk and is the current record holder for Reagan JROTC mile record. He is an assistant manager at his lifeguarding job where he loves adjusting the chemicals. He looks forward to this school year leading the team commanders and growing as a leader himself.
