Speared by Kuliyyah of Education, a collaboration between International Islamic Universtiy Malaysia, the United States Embassy, IKRAM, and ABIM, aims to create future leaders through empowerment of teachers.
Guided by the Sustainable Goal Development program outlined by the UNICEF, this institution is committed to the elevation of the community as their indicator of success.
Conducted under the Kuliyyah of Education; a faculty filled with professionals and seasoned name in the education field, the program aim to empower the teachers through multidimensional approach, in-line with kuliyyah of Education's approach to education which is holistic education which was framed from the National Education Philosophy.
Active in programs which promotes educational and cultural exchanges, the US Embassy provided the necessary resources for the program to be successful. One of the key players in this program, the US Embassy's ambition to facilitate idea exchanges on a wide variety of topics in Malaysia is actualize in this program, where the participants are mainly from private Islamic Schools and the Orang Asli community.
Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia, ABIM, is a knowledge based movement which aims at moderation and involvement with the local societies and its realities. By enrolling the teachers from their private schools, they hope to realise their vision through developing their teachers who is responsible for the development of their students. Open to collaborations, ABIM was eager to be an important part of this program.
A prominent Islamic missionary movement, it focuses its activities on the society's welfare and sensitive towards the society's needs and mobilize its effort in fulfilling it. Responsible for enrolling their teachers from their own private schools, they envision the development of their pupil through teacher training, which this program provides as its main purpose.
