Outside organizations may help eligible families with rugby registration fees, equipment, or other approved expenses. Start with the options below; each organization makes its own funding decisions.
Before you apply: RBHS Boys Rugby is a nonprofit-supported, open-enrollment high school club sport. It is not CIF-sanctioned, has no tryouts, and welcomes all interested students. These features do not automatically make it recreational or noncompetitive under a grant program’s rules. Describe the program accurately and confirm eligibility before relying on an award.
Individual grants · Program classification and matching support require confirmation
Helps students in grades K–12 with registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other approved sports costs. Its published income guidelines use state median income by household size: below 60% for a full grant, or below 100% for a partial grant. Income documentation is required; hardship exceptions may be considered.
Important restrictions: Individual grants can include club or travel sports. For club, travel, elite, training-academy, ongoing monthly, or for-profit programs, All Kids Play requests an organization match covering 50% of the cost. Contact RBHS Boys Rugby before applying; matching funds are not promised. Recreational grants are capped at $350 per sport/session. Limits vary by sport classification, and funding is first-come, needs-based, and subject to availability.
Applications are generally required at least 30 days before the registration deadline. Approved fees are paid directly to the provider; equipment is purchased for the athlete. Begin with the individual-grant inquiry form.

Supports students in grades K–12 whose families lack the funds for sports. The application requests school and grade, GPA, annual household income, a description of financial need, the requested amount and duration, and a contact at the sports organization.
Important restrictions: Its public application does not state a fixed income cutoff, award cap, minimum GPA, or recreational-only rule. Its website includes support for club sports, but this does not establish approval for RBHS rugby. Confirm eligible costs, funding availability, and any additional requirements directly with Active Kids Alliance.
