Currently, I'm a DPhil student in philosophy at University of Oxford.
Between 2021 and 2024, I studied in the department of philosophy at the University of Minnesota, where I earned a masters in philosophy. Before coming to philosophy, I earned a masters in physics at Brown University, a masters in teaching at University of Pennsylvania, and I taught physics for five years at Milton Academy.
My research interests span philosophy of physics and social epistemology. At the moment, I spend most of my time thinking about:
(1) what it is that Everettian quantum mechanics tells us about the world and what our ontic commitments should be;
(2) just how Bohr's complementarity was weaponized as a tool of epistemic violence through the early history of quantum foundations; and
(3) how the hierarchical structures that emerge in intellectual communities are epistemically harmful, and how to resist.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy triathlon, climbing, and exploring the outdoors with my spouse Will and our magnificent dog Ada.
As for pronouns, they/them is fine to use in reference to me.
