On 15 May 2026 from 16:00-19:00, we will host an internal graduate conference for women and gender minorities. Our conference will be a supportive and casual setting to discuss works in progress with a generalist audience. In hosting this conference, we hope to continue fostering the WGM graduate philosophy community.
We invite submissions from women and gender minority (WGM) graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members .
To apply, please submit your title and abstract of150-400 words (excluding references) to this google form by [ DEADLINE ]. We aim to notify speakers of our decisions by [ NOTIFICATION DATE ].
We invite submissions for two types of talks:
Standard talks: 20 minute talks followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
Flash talks: 5 minute talks followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
The standard talks should be on projects that are already active works in progress. The flash talks should concern possible projects that the speaker wishes to undertake. We welcome proposals for either type of talk by WGM graduate students, and we welcome flash talk proposals by postdoctoral fellows and members of the faculty.
All else being equal, we will prioritize submissions by graduate students, especially those who did not present at last year's workshop.
If you plan to attend, kindly register here by 8 May. We will have a maximum capacity of 30 for the workshop and ~15 for dinner. There will be no registration fee.
