The Club exists to provide a friendly environment for all activities associated with radio controlled model boats. We have our own lake with clubhouse and car parking. The club house has a lounge, kitchen, workshop and boat rigging area with toilet facilities. 

We have members with all kinds of boats; precision scale model boats,  high speed electric boats, other electric and steam powered boats, scale and racing yachts. Boats powered by internal combustion engines are not permitted.

The club is available all days of the week  with some days specialising in specific activities as shown below. We open all year and have sailing most weeks unless the lake is frozen over.

Tuesday and Thursday yacht sailing and racing days.

Wednesday scale model and electric boat day.

Weekends general sailing of all kinds. Refreshments available most Sunday mornings.

The club is MYA affiliated.

Membership

The club has four classes of membership, briefly:

Adult, over 18 and able to use all club facilities.
Joint, two adults living in same household able to use all club facilities.
Junior, Under 18 able to sail and use club facilities.
Social, Non sailing, using facilities only.
