Club members are involved in applying modern programmable and robotic features to their sailing. This includes recording cameras mounted on boats, GPS tracking/logging/automatic sailing, Live camera feeds from boat to clubhouse, Non sailing robotic devices and 3D Printing.

If you have an interest in any of the above then applying them to model boats can be very rewarding and gives a wider range of options for you to use your imagination. Complete craft have been printed up to the size of the IOM yachts but smaller ingenious designs are most common.
