These Terms of Use govern access to and use of RapidScout, a service operated by John Peters, doing business as RapidScout.
By creating an account or using RapidScout, you agree to these Terms and the RapidScout Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use RapidScout.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
If you use RapidScout for a school, team, league, organization, or employer, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.
RapidScout is intended for coaches and other authorized adult users. It is not intended for children to create or operate accounts.
You agree to:
Provide accurate account information
Protect access to your Apple and RapidScout accounts
Use your own account
Notify RapidScout of suspected unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account
You may not sell, transfer, rent, or improperly share account access.
You retain ownership of content you upload or create.
You may only upload film and other content that you own or are legally authorized to use.
You represent and warrant that:
You have permission to upload and analyze the film
Your use does not violate copyrights, privacy rights, publicity rights, school policies, league rules, contracts, platform terms, or applicable law
You have obtained any permission required for footage containing minors
You will not upload secretly recorded, unlawfully obtained, or prohibited material
You are responsible for claims resulting from content you upload without authorization.
You grant RapidScout a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, and analyze uploaded content only as reasonably necessary to:
Provide the requested service
Create scouting suggestions and reports
Protect the service
Diagnose processing failures
Comply with applicable law
Enforce these Terms
This license ends when the applicable content is deleted, except for limited information retained for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or system recovery.
RapidScout uses automated systems and artificial intelligence.
AI-generated suggestions may be incorrect, incomplete, duplicated, misclassified, or based on unclear footage. RapidScout may be unable to identify formations, concepts, directions, players, or jersey numbers reliably.
RapidScout provides coach-reviewable suggestions, not verified facts.
You agree to review generated information before accepting, publishing, or using it.
You must not rely exclusively on RapidScout for safety, medical, disciplinary, eligibility, recruiting, legal, employment, or other high-impact decisions.
You may not:
Upload content without authorization
Attempt to access another coach’s account or film
Bypass authentication, subscriptions, App Check, or usage limits
Interfere with or overload the analysis service
Upload malware or intentionally harmful content
Use RapidScout to harass, exploit, profile, or endanger minors
Use RapidScout for unlawful surveillance
Resell RapidScout without written permission
Violate school, league, conference, or governing-body rules
Use RapidScout for unlawful purposes
RapidScout may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct.
RapidScout may offer monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple.
Planned subscription options include:

$44.99 per year
A seven-day free introductory trial for eligible users
Promotional access through eligible Apple Offer Codes
The App Store displays the final localized price and terms before purchase.
Unless canceled, subscriptions automatically renew. Apple charges the payment method associated with the user’s Apple account.
Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple account settings.
Deleting a RapidScout account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Trial eligibility, promotional offers, refunds, billing grace periods, and Offer Codes are administered by Apple under its applicable rules.
RapidScout’s name, branding, interface, software, design, documentation, and original content are owned by John Peters DBA RapidScout or applicable licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of RapidScout to the user.
RapidScout’s collection and use of information is described in the:
RapidScout may occasionally be unavailable because of:
Maintenance
Network failures
Cloud-provider outages
Video-processing limitations
Account or billing issues
Security incidents
Events outside RapidScout’s reasonable control
RapidScout does not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every video can be analyzed successfully.
RapidScout may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features.
If a change materially affects an active subscription, RapidScout will comply with applicable law and Apple’s subscription requirements.
RapidScout may suspend or terminate access if it reasonably believes a user:
Violated these Terms
Uploaded unauthorized material
Created a security risk
Abused the analysis service
Failed to pay applicable subscription charges
Used RapidScout unlawfully
Users may stop using RapidScout and request account deletion at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RapidScout is provided “as is” and “as available.”
RapidScout does not warrant that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular coaching decision or outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, John Peters DBA RapidScout will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from RapidScout.
This includes losses arising from inaccurate analysis, coaching decisions, unavailable service, unauthorized uploads, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated suggestions.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will be limited to the amount the user paid for RapidScout during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify John Peters DBA RapidScout from claims arising from:
Content you upload
Your lack of authorization to use film
Your violation of another person’s rights
Your misuse of RapidScout
Your violation of these Terms
This provision does not apply where prohibited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires another result.
RapidScout may update these Terms when features, pricing, service providers, or legal requirements change.
The revised Terms will display a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or website.
