Frequently asked questions

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open:

iPhone or iPad Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → RapidScout

Subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, and Offer Code eligibility are managed by Apple.

How do I restore a purchase?

In RapidScout, open:

Settings → RapidScout Subscription → Restore Purchases

Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple account that purchased the subscription.

How do I use a Coach Code?

Open the RapidScout subscription screen and select:

Enter the Apple Offer Code using Apple’s redemption screen.

Why can’t RapidScout identify a play or jersey number?

Video quality, camera angle, distance, movement, lighting, uniforms, and obstructed players can affect analysis.

RapidScout intentionally leaves uncertain information blank rather than presenting every guess as fact.

Always review AI-generated suggestions before accepting them.

What happens to uploaded video?

RapidScout processes the video, saves the resulting report, and then attempts to delete the source video immediately.

A cloud-storage lifecycle policy is intended to delete any remaining source video within approximately one day if immediate deletion fails.

What happens if analysis fails?

If a report cannot be completed, the app should display an error and allow another attempt. The source video remains subject to the temporary storage lifecycle policy.

How do I delete my account?

Open:

Settings → About & Legal → Delete Account

Does deleting my account cancel my Apple subscription?

No. Account deletion and Apple subscription cancellation are separate actions.

Cancel the subscription through Apple account settings.

Can I upload Hudl or another platform’s film?

Only if you are authorized to download, upload, and analyze it.

RapidScout does not grant rights to film owned or controlled by a school, team, league, broadcaster, platform, or another rights holder.

Is RapidScout analysis guaranteed to be correct?

No. RapidScout provides coach-reviewable AI suggestions. Coaches must verify the information before relying on it.
