RapidScout Privacy Policy

RapidScout is operated by John Peters, doing business as RapidScout. In this policy, “RapidScout,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to John Peters DBA RapidScout.
This Privacy Policy explains what information RapidScout collects, why it is collected, how it is used, which service providers process it, how long it is retained, and how users can request deletion.
By using RapidScout, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
When a coach uses Sign in with Apple, RapidScout may receive:
An Apple account identifier
The coach’s name, if the coach chooses to share it
An email address or Apple private relay address
A RapidScout account identifier
Authentication and account-status information
RapidScout does not receive the user’s Apple ID password.
Coaches may enter or create information including:
Team and opponent names
Game information
Formations and personnel
Play concepts and directions
Jersey numbers
Coach notes
Tendency information
Scouting reports
Accepted, edited, or rejected AI suggestions
Coaches may upload football film for analysis.
Uploaded source video may contain identifiable players, coaches, officials, spectators, and other individuals, including minors. Coaches are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to upload and analyze this material.
Uploaded video is used to provide the requested analysis, protect the service, troubleshoot processing failures, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
RapidScout may process and store:
Candidate play windows
Formation suggestions
Alignment and motion suggestions
Play-family and play-concept suggestions
Direction suggestions
Jersey-number suggestions
Route-concept suggestions
Confidence values
Coach corrections, approvals, and rejections
Completed scouting reports
Apple processes subscription payments. RapidScout may receive limited subscription information, including:
The subscription product purchased
Subscription status
Trial or promotional-offer status
Renewal or expiration date
Original transaction identifier
Refund, revocation, or billing-retry status
RapidScout does not receive or store complete payment-card information.
RapidScout and its service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including:
App version
Device and operating-system information
Authentication tokens
App Check or App Attest verification results
Request timestamps
Error and diagnostic information
Security and abuse-prevention information
RapidScout does not use this information for third-party advertising.
RapidScout uses information to:
Create and maintain coach accounts
Authenticate users
Process authorized football film
Produce scouting suggestions and reports
Save coach-approved scouting information
Verify subscription access
Provide customer support
Detect fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access
Improve service reliability
Enforce the Terms of Use
Meet legal and regulatory obligations
RapidScout does not sell personal information.
RapidScout does not use uploaded football film for third-party advertising.
RapidScout uses automated systems to analyze football film and charted information.
AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. RapidScout may be unable to identify a formation, play concept, direction, player, or jersey number reliably.
Coaches must review all suggestions before accepting, publishing, or using them.
RapidScout should not be used as the sole basis for safety, medical, personnel, disciplinary, eligibility, recruiting, employment, or legal decisions.
Apple provides services including:
Sign in with Apple
App distribution
Subscription purchases
Offer Code redemption
Subscription and transaction information
Apple handles information according to its own privacy policies and agreements.
Google services may provide:
Authentication support
Firestore database storage
Cloud Storage
App Check
App Attest integration
Cloud Run processing
Security, logging, and infrastructure
RapidScout may use Google Vertex AI and Gemini models to analyze authorized football film and generate coach-reviewable suggestions.
Service providers are expected to handle information according to their applicable agreements and legal obligations.
RapidScout follows this source-video process:
The coach uploads an authorized video.
RapidScout analyzes the video.
RapidScout saves the resulting report.
RapidScout attempts to delete the source video immediately.
A cloud-storage lifecycle policy is intended to remove any remaining source video within approximately one day.
If analysis fails before a report is created, the video may remain temporarily so the failure can be diagnosed or processing can be retried. The source video remains subject to the temporary storage lifecycle policy.
Completed reports and charted information may remain until the user deletes them or deletes the account.
Limited security logs and backup records may remain for a reasonable period when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or system recovery.
RapidScout is designed for coaches and other authorized adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and children are not permitted to create RapidScout accounts.
Football film may contain images or information about minors. The coach uploading the film is responsible for obtaining any required authorization from the school, team, league, parent, guardian, rights holder, or other appropriate party.
RapidScout does not use film containing minors for advertising or public profiles.
RapidScout uses safeguards intended to protect information, including:
Account authentication
Sign in with Apple
Firebase access controls
App Check and App Attest
Encrypted network connections
Account-specific storage paths
Private analysis infrastructure
Short source-video retention
Access and request validation
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. RapidScout cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on the user’s location, users may have rights to:
Access personal information
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion
Obtain a copy of certain information
Withdraw consent
Object to or restrict certain processing
Contact an applicable privacy authority

RapidScout may need to verify the requester’s identity before completing a request.

Deleting a RapidScout account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Apple subscriptions must be managed separately through the user’s Apple account settings.
RapidScout and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.
Appropriate protections will be used for international data transfers where required.
RapidScout may update this Privacy Policy when its features, service providers, or legal obligations change.
An updated policy will display a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or website.
