Key Responsibilities:-
Design, experimental implementation and testing of optical frequency comb sources developed using external optical modulation, direct modulation, gain-switching and fiber laser.
Use a laser optical frequency comb to design and experimentally implement a practical photonic based RF transceiver useful for next generation wireless technologies, optical communication and RADAR.
Investigate various nonlinear optical phenomenon like Self phase modulation, Cross phase modulation, Rayleigh scattering, Brillouin scattering, etc.
Bidirectional sub-THz frequency transceiver design using external optical modulation.
Supervision of undergraduate, internship and Ph.D. students. The works culminated to different international peer reviewed conferences and peer reviewed journal.
