Photonic technology dominates short distance as well as long distance communication. Scaling this robust technology down to the level of the chip so called Photonic Integrated Circuits is where my interest is. By doing this we can, not only imagine future computers, sensing devices, optical clocks etc, just using light beams but also, we can think that its mass production would bring down the cost and power consumption drastically. 

My research therefore involves investigating different key areas of photonics and finally trying to bring them down to nanoscale level (Nanophotonics) that can find applications in optical communications, sensing, optical clocks, spectroscopy, quantum computing; just to name a few.
