The city’s leading charity advocating for and supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities in Birmingham and beyond. We offer a range of services focused on improving the health & wellbeing of individuals.
We also believe passionately that Birmingham should be one of the best places in the UK for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) people to live, work and socialise, and we work to enable a thriving, visible and PROUD LGBT community in the city.

Transcend Birmingham is a social night out welcoming everyone who is on the Trans and Non-Binary. spectrum. Current membership is mainly MtF Trans but we are actively encouraging increasing diversity. We meet up initially in the Equator Bar between 8.00 and 9.30 pm, after which people move on, either in groups or all together, to other nearby venues in the gay village area, and many of the group will stay out until after midnight. Although the venues are bars/clubs there is no need to drink alcohol and many attendees don't. The event is informal and relaxed, you can dress however you feel comfortable. The Event Organiser, Dee, will be easily visible from the entrance to Equator - you can recognise her by her long ginger hair and she'll be wearing a trans lanyard - say hello! Contact email - transcendbrum@gmail.com
NB: There may be few signed up for the event on Meet-Up as most of the current attendees sign up on other social media sites.
