The Indomalayan realm extends across the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and the southern parts of East Asia. It includes countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and part of China and Pakistan. The Indomalayan realm covers 7.5 million square kilometers (2.9 million mi²) and includes tropical moist and dry broadleaf forests, mangroves and wetlands, and montane forests.
