If you are someone who often cares for others and you put yourself last, or if you constantly feel overwhelmed and find yourself thinking you can do better or that you are not doing good enough, then you need to pause and practice some radical self-care.
Radical self-care is when you take the responsibility to deliberately prioritize yourself first, so you can take care of what surrounds you.
On this website, you will find information about different types of wellness: physical, mental, and emotional, and some ideas of how to radicalize your self-care with various tools and free resources. Additionally, you will find a video and some resources to incorporate wellness in your classroom and take your students' self-care to a whole new level. Finally, you will find a self-reflection that you may use to assess your self-care needs.
This artifact is aimed mainly at teachers, but anyone looking for self-care strategies will benefit tremendously. I wish you great success on your wellness path.
