The Radical Rosies had the pleasure of creating plenty of eco-friendly pipe cleaner flowers roses and small incentives to pass out around our community. We stationed a booth just around the corner of the Quad, where we educated our peers on the different types of love and the importance of recognizing healthy relationships.
Purpose:
Our goal was to make as many people as we could feel welcomed and recognized on this lovely day. We wanted our peers to feel included and reminded that even if they may feel alone, there are people out there such as our members who value and support them.

Description:
The Radical Rosies were a part of King Drew Magnet High School´s Women's Day Celebration. We educated our peers on the topic of "Girl's Girl", explaining how as a society we should actively lift each other up and support one another. We demonstrated the importance of woman empowering other woman and the importance of strengthening one another in a society that was built to discourage women. Additionally, we discussed the true meaning of feminism and how a patriarchal society puts limitations on woman.
Purpose:
We wanted to properly educate our peers on our past, and emphasize the importance of us being the next change makers. The longer we wait for society to hand us our reward, the longer we wait to see results.
