Throughout the 2025-2026 school we accomplished more than we had planned. The main purpose of our group is to create a space where both young women and men could critically engage with issues of gender inequality and feel empowered to question the norms that limit them. We achieved just that through our outreaching events. Although our events were proven to be successful, the journey that we embarked on wasn’t one without difficulties. Support from staff was minimal, and at times we were often dismissed or overlooked. Despite this, we remained committed to our mission and determined to make an impact. We constructed events with the sole goal of educating, engaging, and informing. Emphasizing the importance of what peers take away from our presentations and the lessons we can imprint on them.
In the end, there is nothing we would have done differently. Our group is grateful to have members who make educated decisions for the betterment of our community. We are honored to have had the opportunity to spread our wisdom with the youth, the leaders of the next generation. The Students Build Foundation has made our aspirations of spreading knowledge, love, and passion become a reality. As the years go on we wish to continue inspiring more individuals to motivate them to make a positive impact in our imperfect world.
