Rachel Hatch, MA, Senior Research Associate, Research and Evaluation, Global Education, Employment and Engagement at FHI 360

Ms. Rachel Hatch is a Senior Research Associate within the Research and Evaluation unit in the Global Education, Employment and Engagement Department at FHI 360. An experienced international education researcher, Ms. Hatch has expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, including in statistical survey data analysis, education projections modeling, and development of measurement frameworks and tools. She has been involved with research on a variety of issues, including education equity and social cohesion, the relationship of early marriage to school attendance, and inclusive education. Her analytical skills have found numerous applications, from research papers to country profiles to interactive resource planning tools.

Ms. Hatch has country experience in Cambodia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Liberia, Malawi, Mongolia, Russia, and Thailand. She holds an M.A. in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University and a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Russian from Colby College.
