Artist's Statement

Sharing personal experiences and capturing the audience’s attention is the purpose of my video artwork. I captivate the audience with a dense mix of film, images, animations, and special effects. Several of my pieces (the Ring Radio Hour) use the art of the interview: exploring mental health topics through conversations with guests. The nature of my work makes it best suited for teens and young adults. Despite my serious conversation topics, many of my videos are comedic. In the same tradition of sharing funny comics I’ve made when I was young, I want to share humorous videos with the viewer. My sense of humor and playful approach to materials ensures a highly stimulating art experience.
