Vinyl Sticker

The project at task was to make a design that incorporated a bible quote that matched a room number in my schools building. When I thought Bible I knew that I wanted to make it look like the quote was coming straight out of the book. I started with finding an image of a ripped out page. To give it more the effect of coming out of the book I added the book to act as the Bible. The banner was added last as I thought just the page and book looked bland, as if it was any old page and book. The banner gave me a way to convey a message that the sticker is meant to be holy. This was all done in adobe illustrator, this tool allowed me to make my sticker and prepare it to be cut out and pasted on the door.

The teacher that I choose was my religion teacher as she loves all things holy. She was the person I thought would appreciate the sticker the most. Her room number was room 112 so I created the design to the left and showed her. Her reaction warmed my heart as she loved something I created. After that I stuck with this design and was ready to use the CDC machine to cut my sticker. After a long and difficult process, I was able to create my sticker and paste it on to her door for everyone to see.
