This is a selfie of me with my first project completed, soldering an Arduino Board. I started knowing nothing about Soldering but when the wand got in front of me I was ready to get started. I soldered piece by piece until my board was complete and was able to upload code, from the feeling I got from knowing I completed something like that by myself, I knew this was something I would fall in love with. This project taught me a lot for future projects. The most important thing it taught me is patience, as when I was making it I didn't read the directions fully, this lead to me putting in pieces the wrong ways creating problems for my board. I was able to overcome them but was still unsure if the board would work. This taught me my second lesson, don't lose hope, I fought through the adversity and fixed the board completely, despite the fact I wanted to restart the whole project. When I plugged the board in to my surprise it worked and I was able to code the board, allowing me to make more projects. This project taught me a lot about making projects in engineering and without it I wouldn't be able to make the things I have today.
