As an example of what the course covers, my first assignment in The Digital Information Environment asks us to create this digital portfolio, utilising Google Sites, and as a part of it we investigate various aspects of information management, and are introduced to a range of information management tools. For instance: social bookmarking (Diigo, Zotero, Mendeley).
