Mia Aarons

Mia is currently a second year student at University of Nottingham studying Sociology and Criminology. She is particularly interested in research exploring LGBTQ+ expereinces with social policy, hence choosing to be involved with QPaP. She is assisting Dr Lee Gregory and Dr Samuel Mann in developing QPaP and aiding seminar organisation whilst on her placement.

Mia hopes to use her understanding of LGBTQ+ experiences in her dissertation where she is planning to explore the relationship between hookup culture and the fetishisation of the queer community in contemporary society.
