Brandon Kutmas, LCPC, LMHC

Accepting new clients for therapy and diagnostic assessments.

Brandon is licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Iowa as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Illinois University where he has also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Community Mental Health. Brandon has worked in behavioral health field since 2011 as a therapist, legal and shelter advocate for domestic violence survivors, and as a direct instructor for children with Autism. He is also currently serving on the Board of Directors with NAMI GMV and has been working at Western Illinois University's Clinical Psychology program since the fall of 2022 as an adjunct instructor. Prior to joining the field of behavioral health, Brandon served as a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Iraq War and volunteered as a firefighter and EMT.

Daniel Campbell, LCPC, LMHC

Accepting new clients.

Daniel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and a Licensed Mental Health Professional in Iowa. He has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University and a Masters of Science in Clinical Community Mental Health Counseling from Western Illinois University. Daniel has over 9 years of experience in the mental health field working as an outpatient therapist at a community mental health center, as a Residential Counselor at an inpatient drug and alcohol abuse treatment center for adolescents, and as a foster care therapist.

Alyssa Schmidt, LCPC, LMHC

Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa. She earned a Bachelor of Music Therapy and Spanish from The University of Missouri in Kansas City and a Master of Counselor Education from Western Illinois University. She has 13 years of experience in both private and community mental health centers. She works with addictions, trauma, chronic mental health diagnoses, and co-occurring medical and mental health concerns.  

Alyssa's strength is her ability to tailor coping skills for anxiety, panic, and traumatic memories to fit a client's preferences and learning style. Clients most often report that Alyssa uses her voice, body language, and words in a very empathetic and grounding way in session.

Andy Vandercoy, LMHC, LPC

Accepting new clients.

Andy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa, a Qualified Mental Health Professional in the state of Illinois, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). He earned his Master of Science degree in Counseling from Western Illinois University Quad Cities and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa. Andy also interned with the Youth Service Bureau of Rock Island County providing outpatient counseling services for adolescents, adults, and families. Andy has worked in Private Practice for the past five years serving a variety of populations. 

Andy's strength is being open, honest, comforting and compassionate. He meets his clients where they are at and works to create an accepting, meaningful and safe environment. Andy works with traumatic memories using EMDR in order to reduce their emotional impact.

Ashley Yattoni, LCPC

Ashley is a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Illinois. Ashley graduated with her Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago in 2020. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from St. Ambrose University, graduating in 2018. Ashley interned at Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital in Chicago which was an inpatient and partial hospital facility, working primarily with pediatrics, adolescents, and their families. Since completing graduate school, Ashley has worked at Unity Point Trinity – Robert Young Center on the behavioral health inpatient unit, as well as Robert Young’s Outpatient clinic providing therapy with diverse clientele.   

Ashley loves working with both children and adults, utilizing integrative approaches that meet the need of each client. She has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, life stressors, relationship distress, grief, and stress.   

One of Ashley’s greatest strengths is being able to build authentic rapport with each individual she works with. Ashley likes to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere to allow the client to feel heard and validated throughout their therapeutic experience.

Gina Marsh, MSEd, QMHP

Gina is a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Illinois. Gina graduated from Western Illinois University with a MSEd in Counseling and she received her BA from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.


Gina has worked as a School Counselor, as a Clinical Coordinator for Catholic Charities, and as a QMHP at Unity Point Trinity Robert Young Center.


Gina loves working with adults and children ages 6 and up. One of Gina’s greatest strengths is her ability to build rapport with her clients that fosters the therapeutic relationship. Gina strives to provide a safe and respectful environment for her clients, enabling a sense of trust to develop and grow during therapy.

Taylor Adams, BA, Clinical Intern

Accepting new clients.

Taylor is a Mental Health Counseling Intern from National Louis University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Northern Iowa with minors in mental health and criminology. Taylor has two years of experience working in the mental health field as direct support staff to clients diagnosed with severe mental health disorders and as a medication manager. She has also volunteered for the national crisis chat line for two years as a crisis counselor.


Taylor is excited to work with adults, adolescents, and children 12+, using person-centered approaches tailored toward meeting the client's needs. One of Taylor’s strengths is being able to connect with individuals struggling with various issues and who come from various backgrounds. Taylor incorporates genuineness, empathy, and humor into the therapeutic experience to build a healthy therapeutic bond with clients. She strives to create a welcoming, open, and safe environment to foster her client’s growth.

Taylor Taghon, BS, Clinical Intern

Accepting new clients.

Taylor is a Mental Health Counseling Intern from Western Illinois University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As part of Western’s program, Taylor has been seeing clients for a year prior to internship and has been supervised by various licensed therapists. In addition to individual therapy, she has had the opportunity to conduct group therapy sessions and give a number of assessments to assist clients in better understanding themselves.  


Taylor is delighted to work with kids 8+, adolescents, and adults using her knowledge to best serve each client and their unique needs. She aims to create a space where clients can express themselves genuinely and remain open to receive the support they deserve. Taylor works with a variety of concerns including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship/life stress and is interested in working with couples and families more in the future.


One of Taylor’s strengths is being able to make a client feel heard and understood through patience. She is not one to downplay the importance of this aspect of therapy and encourages clients to correct her if there is a misunderstanding. Taylor uses her patience to follow the client’s needs and guide them through therapy at their pace.

Gabriella Sloan, LCPC

Gabriella is a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Illinois. Gabbie graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. She has an undergraduate degree in Modern Language (French and Spanish) with a minor in Psychology from Mississippi College. Gabbie did her graduate internship through the University of Florida’s Psychiatric Hospital, where she treated children and adults with severe psychiatric conditions. She also worked with women recovering from substance abuse and addictive disorders and provided group and individual therapy for LGBTQ+ youth in a Florida high school. 

Gabbie loves working with both children and adults, often using play therapy and expressive art therapy in tandem with talk therapy. She has a deep passion for working with eating disorders and adults who have survived childhood sexual abuse. 

Specialties: Eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, depressive disorders, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
