Under Sections 4.1, 4.7, and 4.10, Ordinance No. 97-03 Series of 1996, the Parañaque Workers Affairs Office has the authority to monitor business establishments in sixteen (16) barangays of Parañaque City, and it is a continuous duty of the monitoring personnel.
The contents of the survey or monitoring form serve as a guide to regulating the condition of a worker and determining if the employer is enforcing labor standards.

These four (4) monitoring personnel are assigned to every barangay. The weekly report is for the verification of the office OIC. If it is found out that there is compliance, a letter will be served as a reminder that they must follow the labor standards, and they have six months to comply for business establishments. The monthly report is submitted to DOLE-MunTaParLas.
The monitoring started in 2014 and is still in progress. There are 7,784 establishments from 2020 up to the present (September 2022). This is a great help for the City of Parañaque; hence, the status of the employees and employers can be monitored.
Through this, the status of the workers and employers is monitored. This only proves that this is a great help for the workers and employers in the city.
